Why are there multiple SmartZone results?
I always show:-
- The latest SmartZone release
- The latest Long-term General Deployment SmartZone release
- Supported Stability releases for any of your devices
Refer to the Ruckus SmartZone Release Management for definitions of these terms.
Other Ruckus Firmware Tools & Guides
I also have an Unleashed Firmware Guide and a SmartZone Firmware Guide.
This page was inspired by Karthikeyan Krish's Ruckus Unleashed filtering tool.
If you don't need dynamic filtering then Purdi have Unleashed and SmartZone/ZoneDirector Firmware Compatibility Guides, and Andrea Coppini has a Ruckus AP <> Controller Version Compatibility table.
Ruckus also have a guide showing first supported and last supported firmware versions for recent end-of-life AP models here.
SmartZone AP firmware vs SmartZone Controller releases
Unfortunately the Ruckus, Purdi and Andrea Coppini guides show only SmartZone AP firmware versions.
Each SmartZone Controller release supports a range of AP firmware versions, and each AP/Controller has a recommended stable firmware version.
So you can't currently rely on their guides to suggest compatible SmartZone Controller releases.
